Q&A: Best holiday destination for young adult family?

Hey everyone,

We are a family of four.

Adults in late 40′s, and two kids (by the time we go I will be aged 18 and my other sibling 24)

The kids are very adventurous and fit, whilst the adults probably just want a break from work lol! We are thinking late 2009 – early 2010.

What do you think is the best AFFORDABLE place in the world to go?

We have already been to Europe (Paris, London etc) & Asia (Thailand, Malaysia etc) and need somewhere affordable, yet relaxing and sightseeing (something that will blow us away for the first time)

We live in Australia so please think about travel distance and money aspect too. Also safety would be good as well.

Also, we’ve been to the South Pacific (Fiji, Vanuatu, New Zealand) so maybe not that either.

Visit the Philippines, try Ifugao and see the Banaue Rice Terraces, Bohol island, Boracay island, Bohol sland, Palawan island and Cebu.
