Where should young guys go to on holidays in Sweden?
Question by WishEater: Where should young guys go to on holidays in Sweden?
Me and my friends are planning on going to some nice place during next Summer holidays (We are going to be 20 then). We are strongly considering Sweden because, apparently, the girls there are really attractive, and also speak English.
Would anyone, with some experience, please help me out with two things:
1) Could you plase tell me how the Sweedish girls are?
i] Do they speak English very well?
ii] How are they like by character? Are they arrogant? Lose? Easy? Bitchy?
iii] Do they like international guys?
iv] What kind of guys do they tend to be attracted to in terms of looks? Like, tall? Blond?
v] And in terms of character? Bad boy? Arrogant? Nice?
2) Could you please tell me what place my friends and I should go to for good night life, and attractive young girls? The only place I know is Stockholm… : /
If you can answer both things it would be great, but any input is appreciated.
Thank you!

is better than you.
I cannot speak for Sweden, but I can speak for Norway, which is right beside Sweden
1) Norwegian girls are quite attractive, most aren’t slutty, and have nice personalities.
I) English is an optional subject in Norway, so most speak English, although don’t expect them to understand complicated English.
II) That’s a strange question, it depends on the person and there is not a “specific” answer to that.
III) Many are attracted to African guys, and I mean extremely attracted. But many find English speaking foreigners quite attractive as well.
IV) Again, this depends on the person.
V) While you do find these girls that falls for anything, most appreciate guys who have a decent education at least, so if you’re into the traditional Norwegian girls, I doubt you’ll get very far being a twat.
2) For nightlife I strongly recommend Oslo. There are excellent places to party on Karl Johan and Aker Brygge, you will have a very nice time there. Usually many girls to find walking there at late night.
Give your answer to this question below!
1. Swedish girls have individual personalities. There are stereotypes, but even these differ by area of Sweden. The general stereotype is that Swedes are a bit reserved (but I know many that are very outgoing), not easy but confident and comfortable with what they want and expect to be treated with respect and equality. Most speak English very well, but not everyone is comfortable speaking it and slang can be difficult to understand.
Some like international guys, others don’t. Some like tall, some like short, some like blonde, some like brunette. Some like bad boys, some like nice. It’s completely impossible to generalize this. The best thing is to evaluate your own personality, and go places that match it, where others of a similar nature are probably hanging out.
2. All the major cities, as well as places with lots of university students, have decent nightlife. Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Lund, Uppsala, Umeå, etc. Wikitravel city guides are decent for tips on where to go, but you’ll find more if you do your own research.

Most clubs have an age limit of at least 20, and some raise this limit to 23 or 25, particularly on weekends. Many places have a strict dress code (you’ll need to dress up), though pubs and rock/indie clubs tend to be more relaxed. Popular clubs have queues and it can be difficult to get in. Small groups of guys have better luck, don’t drink before you go out, and arriving right when a club opens helps.
