This is my last night in China (Guangzhou) : ( It is the best holiday that I have ever had and I would come back in a heartbeat if I had the money to. The people are great out here. They are really friendly and know how to have a good time. I’m tempted to accidentally miss my flight!
Summers in Santa Teresa di Gallura, Sardinia. I lived there for over 3 years and have only been back once for 10 days back in 1985.
For some reason,and I haven’t got a clue why,I’ve always fancied Japan.
Renting a very luxurious House Boat, on a beautiful lake, and have all my children and grandchildren with us, for two whole weeks.
We have done this, and the houseboat was really huge.
When we were returning it to the docks, we saw the new houseboats that they were renting, which were HUGELY expensive. It looked like a very high class hotel.
I have done all the travelling I want to, so now, my first love, is being with all my family.

Cruise in Alaska in the Spring
Italy in the Summer
A private island somewhere warm.
A spa week in a town with Mud Baths and Hot Springs no alarms no cells. All by myself.
One week in Alaska’s Denali park in a remote lodge.
One week in Alaska’s Katmai Wilderness Lodge
One week Alaska Glacier cruise.
That was our greatest vacation ever.
Last October we took a cruise through the Panama Canal.
Good but no comparison to Alaska’s beauty.
Another safari to Tanzania, this time staying in luxury bungalows the whole trip.
Hiking among the Great Pyramids in Egypt.
A trip to see the parts of China where they filmed “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”
Taking my mother-in-law home to Germany, where she was born but hasn’t seen since the 1950s.
