I want to go to Santa Monica – muscle beach if i find a hotel anywhere in santa monica would we be able to get to muscle beach??
ive been trying to search on the holiday company websites but not getting any results does anyone know any good websites?

Muscle Beach is actually in neighboring Venice Beach. There is a beach path and you can walk to it. I would guess that its heyday was at least 20 years ago. People still work out there, it’s just not going to be what you’re expecting. The beach has lots of homeless, people begging for money to buy drugs (at least they are honest) and other assorted oddities and actually has great people watching. If you go on a weekend your ears will be assaulted for hours with the endless drumming from the 50+ people that meet there for a drum circle.
It sounds like I don’t like Venice Beach which isn’t the case. I think everyone should experience the Venice Beach boardwalk at least once in their lives. Be sure to check out the Venice canals, they are pretty.
Look into staying at the Hotel California in Santa Monica. It’s on the beach, affordable compared to other beach front hotels, next to the pier and close to the 3rd Street Promenade.

Public transportation is very slow. Los Angeles is huge and it takes hours to get anywhere taking the bus or rail. That’s why we all drive!
