    My wonderful and lovelly Norway!

I´m from Portugal but Norway is the country I admire the most, not only for the breathtaking landscapes but also and mainly because of the way norwegians live, with a deep respect for nature. I think they are a level above all of us.

    Jeg elsker Norge!!!

@snocross5544 True but the Midnight sun would prevent you from seeing them they say the best time to see them is from around September to April.

They occur all year round, but in the Summer in high latitudes the nights are very short and north of the Arctic Circle it is daylight for 24 hours so the opportunity to see them can be short or non-existent. In the winter you can have almost 24 hours of darkness. I’m going up to Northern Norway tomorrow and it will be dark from 3pm until 9am, 18 hours of darkness.

Do the Northern Lights only appear in winter? I’m going on a cruise to Norway in the summer and would so love to see this amazing sight.
