Is this a large or small venue?
Question by Salsa: Is this a large or small venue?
I’m going to see All Time Low on their spring tour with Yellowcard, Hey Monday, and The Summer Set at The Northern Lights in Albany New York
The capacity is 1,100 people
this is my first real concert so i really have no idea if that is considered a quite large venue, or is this is small ??? like how big is is compared to an average venue ?

the venue is on the smaller side. i’ve been to conerts with more than 6,000 people in the past several years.

I’d say that’s about average. The House of Blues in Cleveland holds about 1300 people, and I’d say that’s the biggest venue near me. It’s not a small venue, by any means, but won’t be like Woodstock or anything.
Small.
I’ve been in Wembley Stadium, capacity at least 70,000.
Smaller fersure. I didn’t know ATL were doing a spring tour.
I’ll have to see if theyre coming near me.
I love them<3
In my opinion, that’s the perfect size for a venue. The place I go to the most is about 1500 so a little bit more than that and I always feel like it’s not too big so I don’t feel too far away from the band. At the same time though, it’s not too small so I don’t need to feel packed in if I don’t want to.
I’ve actually seen videos from the place you’re talking about. Here’s one of them

It’s small compared to a stadium capacity. The smallest music venue I’ve been to was a hole in the wall nightclub with 250 capacity, and the largest was the L.A. Coliseum with over 90,000 capacity.
thats really small. so thats good because youll be able to see them well:) im going on april 16th and the venue im at hold 3,000 and thats still pretty small. have fun!
