I am looking at a few holiday villas and they are great but if I went to Kenya I would want to go on a Safari trip so will need to stay near that? Where in Kenya (if that is a good place to go on Safari) do you stay to do this? Mombasa?, Nairobi?

kenya is one of the best holiday destinations.long beautiful beaches have nice villas near them[mombasa and malindi].nairobi you have to stay in hotels[very nice ones of course].try maasai mara,tsavo,amboseli or even nairobi national park[5kms from city centre,the only one in the world]etc,etc

Best villas are along the coast and thus the best place to be is in Mombasa and the nearest places to go on a safari is the Tsavo National park and Amboseli for that great view of the hihest peak in Africa ( Mt.Kilimanjaro)

Ive done Safari in Kenya because I lived in Mombaso. I recommend http://www.sipisafaris.com, The man that runs this is very nice and will find the perfect trip to fit what you want, either to travel in style, or to camp. You can do one park, or as we did, 3 parks. If you don’t want to go to Kenya though you can always go to South Africa to Kruger park. I lived in Swaziland for 2 years, and this park is much cheaper then the ones in Kenya and you will see the big 5, where it is hard to see rhinos in Mombasa unless you go to Masaai Mara which is very expensive, but you are not near a beach in South Africa like you would be in Mombaso, Kenya.
