family and I are looking for a quick get away in late April. But Thailand is thunderstorms and/or overcast at best, South Africa is cooling off towards their winter and VERY expensive on the air fares. Can you suggest anything that will definately be really quite warm for 10 days. Thanks

If you stay in the US Arizona is a beautiful place to vacation.
If you want to go outside the US then Australia is nice as well

Your library should be able to get you a copy.
At-a-glance regional weather charts for over 200 countries are easy to read and chock-full of the information you need:
monthly average and record temperatures
relative humidity — and the average level of discomfort from heat and humidity
hours of sunshine each day
number of wet days each month
The Caribbean. Hawaii is probably nice too this time of year.
Why not Europe it’s warming up over there too.

Try Sharm el sheikh in the Red Sea. Guaranteed sunshine, fantastic diving and snorkelling and great food. The temperature should be in the thirties now.Check out ‘Onthebeach’. you can arrange seperate flights and hotel through them. Very helpful and efficient service. If you do go I recommend the Dreams Beach Resort or Melia Sinai Hotel.
