I have been to Kenya ,many times – i met my husband there!! Kenya is a fabulous country with lovely friendly people. I know there have been concerns following the election troubles at the end of last/beginning of this year. My hubby & i were there during the troubles and we were fine. 99% of the people just want a quiet life. So don’t let that put you off. Also all the big tour operators are going there again so that is an indicator of the situation.
Good holiday sites to book with:
www.gatewayholidays.co.uk
www.somak.co.uk (both these sites do packages)
If you want flight only, and organise a hotel/apartment when you get there, try www.klm.com We fly with them and they’re a good airline to go with.
I could go on and on….lol
Email me if you like – foonbar@yahoo.co.uk and i can give further advice/tips.

Kenya is a wonderful place with a wide choice of sceneries. Beaches, wild game drives, hikes and perfect for any kind of holidays. You can check out http://www.oasis.co.ke or contact me for travel consultancy.
kenya is great. come experience it. I can help you plan your travel.
Sounds like there are some really BIASED answers here. The truth of the matter is Kenya is not a safe place for a holiday. Don’t take my word for it – look at the links below.
Apart from the political unstability, there are things like car-jacking at gun-point, muggings, pickpocketing targetting tourists and visitors. Truth be told, you cannot venture out of your hotel after dark in Nairobi. That is compounded by the fact that you cannot get anywhere in Nairobi during the day, because of the congestion. There are health issues to consider in this type vacation esp. since there was a cholera outbreak in June this year. But that aside, the pollution from the unregulated chemicals spewwing out of the matatus will choke you.
Finally, I would not underestimate the violence that is unleashed should there be some kind of political fallout. The worst part is, most major airlines stop flying into and out of Kenya, the minute there is even a hint of such trouble. So you become stranded in a place you do not want to be.
Other than that, Kenya is great. (sarcasm).
I myself come from kenya and right now there is an influx of tourist arrivals in kenya, then that means kenya is a suitable choice for your travel.i can also help you with info if you need any?
sure why not,you should go
