Yes, friends of us use to go with Benwa and they still use their caravan at least once a year

Oh yes , but not in the way we used to know it ! Caravaning used to be the cheaper way of going on holiday or camping ! Not anymore , a caravan of two years old can set you back R150000 ! 4X4 caravans and vehicles with Quad bikes are the in- thing these days !
I’ve seen that many small to medium towns still have caravan parks………but many others are doing away with them……..they built chalets there……There’s this big caravan park when you get into George from the CT N2 side…….during holiday season it is packed to capacity…… I also know that some municipal officials in Plett would rent out their houses in December…….sent their wives and children to families inland, and they would stay at the caravan park…….they said they make a lot of money from renting out their houses….
