I’m African American and I would like to visit Spain, I’ve been told that its a tourist friendly country, but with recent News coming out of Spain coupled with what I’ve heard from the media I’m a little confuse?
Basically what i want to know is it a bad time for African Americans to travel to Spain or is it like that for Americans in general?

I have never heard that African Americans weren’t welcome in Spain… I think they absolutely are! People from Spain like Obama very much.

They love your money.
You haven’t heard anything from any kind of RELIABLE media that says it’s dangerous for Americans or African Americans to travel to Spain. What “recent News coming out of Spain”? And what have you heard from [other] “the media” that would confuse you?
I dont think it would be safe but they wouldnt welcome with open arms!
Go ahead and visit Spain ,have a good time,just one thing:please don’t try to be a rapper,they can’t stand rappers.
It is one of the safest countries in the world for everyone.

It’s a really bad time for Americans to come here to Spain. The euro is stronger than the dollar and anyway, most Americans think Europe is a country and Spain is a town, so stay where you are for now!!
From recent holidays in Spain there is more Asian, African and Moroccan people in spain than Spaniards and I do not see why they will be unfriendly as tourism is Spain’s main income. The only thing I would say is do not go to Spain to look for employment as you will find nothing. Good Luck.
