I can’t answer any of your specific questions, but some interersting facts about Namibia include that there was a German minority there, primarily farmers..
The country is known for its diamonds.
There is an extremely long panhandle extending eastward from the northeast corner of the country – called the Caprivi Strip
Part of the area around Walvisbaai was an exclave of South Africa.
1.) Go over to http://www.afrointroductions.com join and make friends with Namibians on the chat section directly.
2.) Go join http://www.skype.com and then look up the skype user in skype’s yellow pages in the Namibia section. You then can chat or talk with them directly.
I have done both aspects for a long time now. No problem.
Oh too, I also found online newspapers from Namibia. Some with forums. Research it.
