Entry from: Signal Hill, South Africa Entry Title: “Holiday Day 2 Sight Seeing” Entry: “Spent a lovely morning with Pete and Marietjie, boy am I only going to miss them when they leave Saudi, such good people. Had a light breakfast at Marietjie’s house and then off to Tiger Valley for coffee with Phil. What an awe-sum morning. On the way back I thought of Natalie’s request for stunning pictures, as well as my promise to myself to do at least one interesting thing for the blog each day. I decided to detour to Signal Hill which was loads of fun. Last time I was there was in 2000 with my dad and Robin. Robin was still so small she sat on my dad’s neck’, hard to believe it today when I see the stunning young lady she has become. Tried out various pics and settings, lots of the bike, sorry. But in lieu of another sexy lady to enhance the quality of my pictures, she will have to do unfortunately. I know Robin enjoyed the break as well, which made me extra glad. Stopped off to take pics of Langebaan and the wild flowers on the way back, and after her initial shyness Robin, who takes art and photography classes, took the camera and could not put it down after. What fun she had, and took some nice pics too. Had lunch with Salomé, Sammy, Robin and Dean, after which I went to the quest house and spent a boring afternoon on my own. Just what I wanted, feeling better but still little sore and mega tired. But have the rest of the afternoon to relax till drinks tonight with Dominic at the Mount Nelson. Helga and Zak decided to move me to a sea facing room and am even more impressed with the level of service and the value for money the Guest House offers. What an awe-sum room, and an even better view!!! I definitely will be staying here again in the future that is for sure.
