I m staying in Banjul West Africa , what is the most convenient flight , less time consuming ? I am planning to go to New Jersey & land at Newark airport .

I did a lot of traveling through Africa last year and the best deals I found were through the French company Air France. You could try to fly directly out of Banjul or take a bus up to Dakar and I bet you will save some serious money flying into Paris. Then you can fly directly into Newark or save a bit more money by flying into New York’s JFK or La Guardia.
Going through Europe is going to be your best price, but if you search a bit by using countries that are close to the US (like Ghana), you might even find a more direct route.
