Im South African wanting to return home for Christmas. I am on a working holiday visa for the UK and it be easier and cheaper to travel from Dublin back home. Would I ba able to board a plane in Dublin on a UK visa?

Not sure about the UK visa thing, but if you wanted you could travel to Belfast and drive to Dublin Airport, it takes a couple of hours..or use the train..there are no border checkpoints or anything like that. I travel that way all the time.

If you’re planning on transitting from Dublin to South Africa, you don’t need a transit visa.
In fact, for visits less than 3 months, South African citizens are not required to have a visa.
So enjoy your trip home
Why wouldn’t you be able to fly out of Dublin? Are you banned from the Republic of Ireland for any reason? Ireland is not one of the Schengen countries if my memory serves me.
